Here at the Lentine house we are f.r.u.g.a.l. That being said, we don't go to Starbucks often, maybe once or twice a month. Now I know to some of you that just sounds crazy, like I have totally lost my mind or something, but for us-it totally works. Most mornings I am up for about an hour before I have to be anywhere, and considering the time it takes me to "get ready" is about 20 min. {no joke, I call it "low maintenance" but some might call it "lazy", I like my term better} I have plenty of time to make my own coffee and enjoy it on the couch, front porch, or at my desk. I actually prefer it that way, because I really don't want to have to wait an hour before I have coffee. Somedays though, I need to spice it up...hence:
Pumpkin Spice Latte
From Crockpot365
This was so simple. I have actually made this twice now, once in the CrockPot, once on the stove top. Both were heavenly. It does taste a little different from the Starbucks version, a little more mild I guess you could say, but I really liked it. Also, definitely follow the directions when it says to whisk in the pumpkin and spices, if you don't it ends up being kinda chunky {not that I would know or anything}. If you're a pumpkin lover, and esp. a pumpkin lover on a budget like I am, try it!
I know what you are thinking, that this picture looks kinda sad. Well heres the deal, it was night time so: bad lighting, and the main sad thing is that I really truly don't like whipped cream- which is usually what makes drinks look so pretty. Sometimes I try to make myself like it, but it's crazy, I just don't. Hey i'll take it, thats one sweet thing I don't like, compared to the 100,000 that I do:)

What a great idea! I looooove Starbucks but who wants to pay those prices? Not me, especially when work gives us free Starbucks regular coffee lol. But this pumpkin idea sounds fabulous!
