Her latest and greatest is extra fun this time! She was given a whole bunch of old cigar boxes, and knew she wanted to do something really creative with them, and that she did! She made these cigar boxes into adorable signs. Here is how the whole thing went down:
Supplies:
- Cigar Box{es}
- Paint brush
- Chalkboard paint {from Joann's for $6.99, but then used a 40% off coupon!!}
- Painters tape
Simply tape off the areas that you want to leave unpainted on the BACK of the cigar box {as to not cover any of the detail of the box}:
Apply chalkboard paint, and let dry for 24 hours {patience is key here!}

ReplyDeleteThere has to be at least one cigar store in Phoenix or Mesa or Scottsdale that will save some for you. Check the thrift stores also. These are good for reminders on the bathroom sink, or in the kitchen: Don't forget to bring home the ........ For the husband. Ann
